Read the following agreement before signing up A2B on-line courses

A2B On-line Course Agreement:

 

A2B On-line School (hereinafter referred to as "A2B") is established to provide on-line learning services aimed at offering high-quality educational resources and learning environments for students. The purpose of this agreement between A2B and Parents/guardians is to ensure that students adhere to A2B's regulations to enhance the effectiveness of their learning.

 

Terms and Conditions:

 

Payment of Tuition Fees: Parents/Guardians agree to pay the tuition fees as per A2B's prescribed fee payment schedule. Tuition fees are to be paid on time, andA2B will provide detailed payment methods.

 

Academic Discipline: Students commit to abiding by A2B's academic discipline and regulations, including but not limited to attending classes on time, respecting teachers and fellow students, refraining from cheating, and not disrupting the classroom environment. Students must maintain a positive learning attitude and behaviour to ensure a conducive learning environment.

 

I.e. Prior to class, check your network connection, prepare your stationery and course materials, and find a quiet learning environment to fully participate. During class, turn on the camera and actively engage with the teacher.

 

Participation in Courses: Students agree to actively participate in all courses, submit assignments on time, take tests and examinations as required. Students should make full use of the learning resources provided by A2B and actively engage in online discussions and academic activities.

 

Privacy Protection: A2B will protect students' personal information and privacy and will not disclose such information to third parties. However, A2B reserves the right to access students' information in accordance with legal requirements or for security reasons. Students recording or filming the teacher or classmates during on-line classes is strictly prohibited. This is to respect privacy and protect the rights of others. If you need to record the course content, please use the resources or notes provided by the teachers and follow A2B's relevant regulations.

Recording Consent: parents/guardians grant A2B permission to record lessons in which the students’ images and academic work can be captured. Recorded lessons may be used for promotion, academic research, study and analysis to enhance the learning experience and educational outcomes. A2B will handle recorded material with care and responsibility. Parents/guardians may revoke this consent at any time by providing written notice to A2B.

 

Academic Performance: Students are expected to work diligently to achieve good academic results. A2B will provide necessary academic support and guidance based on students' performance.

 

Leave Request and Attendance Policy: with the exception of urgent sick leave, please ensure that you notify the OE Centre at least 48 hours in advance if you intend to take leave. WeChat users can request leave through the A2B Online School Parents Group by providing details such as the reason for leave, the duration, and the student's name. WhatsApp users can submit leave requests within the OE Learning whatsapp group, offering similar information. Limit leave requests to no more than twice in a term. At most 2 missed lessons may be carried over to the next term, or we can coordinate maximum 2 makeup lessons to cover the missed classes. No makeup lessons or refund to unexcused absence.

 

Agreement Termination:

 

If students or parents/guardians violate any provisions of this agreement, A2B reserves the right to terminate the course.

 

A2B reserves the right to modify any part of this agreement with prior notice.

Students and parents/guardians should regularly check the on-line school group notifications, registered emails, and the school website for the latest information regarding any amendments to the agreement. In the case of significant modifications, A2B will provide notice in advance to ensure both parties have sufficient time to comprehend and accept the changes.
